How might we design an in-car accessory to enhance an semi-autonomous driving experience?

In the near future, people will travel in semi-autonomous vehicles and only drive in road environments where autonomous driving is impossible. To make the handover of driving control more enjoyable and trustworthy, I propose to augment the in-car accessory as an interface between the driver and the vehicle. Auze is a robotic rearview mirror accessory designed to notify drivers about potential handovers through kinesthetic and auditory cues.
