Jongik Jeon

I design and build integrated hardware and software systems to explore new roles of human senses in interaction design. Through my research, I aim to create multisensory interfaces that orchestrate different sensory modalities by harmonizing, synthesizing, and transposing them—like musical instruments—to help us perceive and interact with the world more conveniently, profoundly, and aesthetically.

In September 2026, I'll join Mind Music Machine Lab at Virginia Tech as a PhD student. I earned my MSc from Affective Systems and Cognition Lab at KAIST, and BSc in Industrial Design from KAIST.​
